Senator Faisal Javed and Senator Zeeshan Khanzada pays visit to Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Head Office here in Islamabad. Managing Director PBM, Aon Abbas Buppi welcomed the distinguished guests and briefed them about the PBM’s proactive contribution in Prime Minister’s Ehsaas Programme to uplift the marginalized segments of the society.
Aon Abbas informed the Senators that PBM has devised an inclusive plan to reach out maximum number of beneficiaries even of the remote and deprived areas of the country. “With its presence in all over the country including GB and AJ&K, PBM is vibrant to benefit the susceptible persons through General Financial Assistance, Medical Assistance, Assistance for Education, Child Protection & Education (orphanages by the name of Darul Ehsaas), PBM Schools of Rehabilitation of Child Labour, Conditional Cash Transfer programme for the education of poor children, Women Empowerment through Women Empowerment Centres (WECs), Rehabilitation of the persons with disabilities and Panahgahs for the daily wagers and other deserving persons.”, he briefed.
Managing Director PBM also highlighted the PBM’s various relief activities accomplished during the pandemic crisis throughout the country. Aon Abbas Buppi further explained about the first-ever digital infrastructure to provide quick relief to the poor patients through e-processing.
Considering PBM’s Social protection programmes as a cornerstone of relief and plausible solution of poverty related issues, Senator Faisal Javed and Senator Zeeshan Khanzada commended the organization’s Management and Team. On the occasion, cheques were also presented to the patients for their medical treatment whose cases were got finalized within one week through e-processing.
