Special Friends of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal
Pakistan Bait al Mal has taken a step forward as a challenge to provide a wheel chair to all those who are disable and can't move. Think for a while! If a disabled gets a chair of his own and that too with respect & honour, how the life of that individual can be transformed. He can do wonders in days to come. In the history of Pakistan, first time a family that consists of 01 or more persons with disabilities (PWDs) is given status of Special Friend of PBM. This means, a family having one PWD would be legally authoized to get Rs. 30,000/- per annum, while a family having two or more PWDs would be granted Rs. 60,000/- per annum and also wheel chairs, hearing Aid, white canes & artificial Limbs if needed.

CRITERIA OF SELECTION FOR SPECIAL FRIENDS PROJECT (SFP)
Financial Assistance:-
Application at PBM prescribed proforma alongwith copy of valid CNIC.
B-Form (in case of minor)
Disability certificate or NADRA CNIC having disability monogram
Standard Wheel Chairs:-
Application at PBM prescribed proforma alongwith copy of valid CNIC.
B-Form (in case of minor)
Disability certificate or photograph showing disability or recommendation from a medical practitioner of Government hospital or recommendation of Director (Medical)
Senior citizens (having age 60 or above)
Customized Wheel Chairs:-
Submission online application by persons with disabilities (PWDs) at PBM website for 21 selected districts. (Islamabad, Bhimber, Kotli, Gujranwala, Jhang, Rahim Yar Khan, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Haripur, Lakki Marwat, Tank, South Waziristan, Chaghi, Washuk, Noshki, Kharan, Sibbi, Qilla Abdullah, Ziarat, Gilgit).
Disability certificate issued from Provinical/Regional Social Welfare Department/Ministry of Human Rights or CNIC indicating disability or disability certificate from any Government hospital alongwith with photograph showing disability.
Hearing Aids/Artificial Limbs:-
Application at PBM prescribed proforma alongwith copy of valid CNIC.
Detail of estimate from any Government hospital alongwith medical tests reports
